Tommy started mmldigi in 2016 with a single wager: Chinese B2B manufacturers don't need bigger marketing. They need slower, deeper marketing that compounds.

Nine years and 2,000 businesses later, the bet is still running. The agency is 60 people across Guangzhou and overseas, still in-house on every layer of the stack, still refusing to take on clients we don't think we can move the needle for.

mmldigi is short for "slowly, digital marketing." The name is the strategy. In a market dominated by agencies promising "page 1 in 90 days" and AI content factories pumping out generic copy, we made the opposite bet.

Here's the underlying advantage: we're salespeople by training, not designers. Tommy started in B2B sales in 2005. Twenty years of being on the buyer's side before mmldigi ever shipped a site. The leadership team brings the same DNA: people who closed deals, who lost them, who learned by carrying the bag. That's why every site we build starts with a business deep-dive, not a wireframe.

We do every layer of the stack in-house: building, copywriting, photography, video, SEO, GEO, paid search, paid social, brand design. Not because it's profitable for an agency (it isn't, in the short run). Because fragmented agency stacks produce fragmented results, and B2B businesses deserve better.

Our typical client engagement runs 5 to 10 years. The site we ship in year one is the site we still operate in year ten. Bigger, refined, but the same engine. That's not common in this industry. That's the point.
